The choice fell on Ghent, by the water of the Blaarmeersen. BeauBelge composed a day alternating movement and team play: first exploring the domain and the city by solex, then team games on the grass, and finishing with a barbecue by the water. A programme that works for a group that wants to get to know each other better outside the meeting room.
A day by the water
Welcome on the terrace
Starting with coffee and a light breakfast on a terrace at the Blaarmeersen.
Solex tour
A guided solex tour of about three hours along the domain and the Ghent surroundings, with a drink along the way.
Tandem Discovery
Together on the tandem, where steering and pedalling only work if you tune in to each other.
Team games on the grass
Giant Jenga, tangram puzzles and a flag challenge. Small teams, plenty of discussion and laughter.
Barbecue by the water
A generous buffet barbecue by the water, with time to catch up.
Overnight stay
Those who stayed slept on site and had breakfast the next morning.
